2004 KAWASAKI Z750. Cost $11,300 new, 108hp @ rear wheel @ 11000rpm. Six speed gearbox, Top speed of 245kmh indicated, Non adjustable suspension on the front, adjustable spring preload and rebound damping on the rear. The only modifications are lower gearing and a K&N air filter, Again, because they're cheaper than standard Kawasaki ones. I replaced the front springs with Eibach units as the original ones failed (read Sagged) after a particularly rough hard landing from a jump over a tabletop bridge in Perth. The bike has 45000kms so far after fifteen months ownership with no problems yet. I thought about furring this one also but I feel a naked bike just wouldn’t look right, I don’t think there is enough coverable area. I'm pretty happy with the performance and surprisingly for a naked bike its fairly comfortable at up to 200kmh on long country trips considering there is only a token attempt at a short bug screen above the headlight.
