The 1999 Honda SL230 develops 19.5ps @7500rpm, Has a six speed gearbox, Cost $5,000, Comes standard with Renthal bars and non-adjustable suspension except for spring preload on the rear. Mine has custom made front springs, A Honda XL250 rear shock with remote reservoir. This has increased the ground clearance by about 40mm and given the bike the ability to handle my weight over jumps. With lowered gearing it has a top speed of 115kmh on the road. I’ve completed a two day enduro, a pony express and a few Adventure Rally’s on this bike. Also made it to three or four Motard ride days at Henderson Go Kart track where the Inaugural W.A. Supermoto cup was held this year.
